The club aims to promote a friendly atmosphere, welcoming people of all levels of photographic skill, both traditional and digital. Through tutorials, competitions and quality speakers, our programme of events seeks to stimulate, enlighten and encourage.

If you are just starting out in photography, our programme offers a number of tutorial evenings designed to help you get the best from your equipment. Remember, all our members were beginners once! The teaching, stimulation, and encouragement they have gained from the Torbay Photographic Society has helped their work develop to the standard it is at now.

If, however, you are at a higher standard, come, share your work with us, and if you wish, put it up against other members in our friendly competitions, where visiting judges will make constructive comments on your work; another invaluable source of expert advice.
